Haven't been on in a while, my temp job for the feds is going pretty well. I'm learning valuable skills that I can use at their organization. My coworkers are ok and are teaching me a lot, but on to the even better news. I finally got a permanent job with the VA as a Nursing Assistant in Des Moines, Iowa. I DO NOT want the job, but it is a federal job with great benefits. I just hope I do not get stuck in this position. So hopefully I'll be moving out of my parent's house in September with my boyfriend. I'm feeling all the emotions: scared, happy, excited, anxiety, you name it. I prayed real hard for an offer, so I guess this is my destiny. Why Lord do I have to be a Nursing Assistant first? I'm still interviewing just in case I can get something else.
I hope all the unemployed find jobs. Don't give up and keep trying. Just when I was about to give up, I got something.
